Future Design Studio
In collaboration with Fundamentals Academy, I have been facilitating a five-day workshop at the curriculum kick-off at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME for short) since 2020. Every year we go back and iterate on last year to create a new and innovative experience for the students. The workshop is called Future Design Studio, in which we try to design solutions for conceptual problems in the near future, using the systemic Co-Design method. The attending students vary between first-year bachelor students to graduating master students.
My role in this workshop is to provide support in design thinking and design research methods and to evaluate the work made by the students.
Because the work is conceptual, there is no real end result. To provide a little more context, you’ll find some atmospheric impression of the last five workshops.
